I'm a fan of the Arizona Grand Resort. It's not unlikely to see a large football player or professional WWF wrestler wedged in a doughnut tube floating by on the lazy river with a girly drink. Those of you who have seen it know what I'm talking about - it's pure entertainment!

I agree. We never camp in a dedicated camp ground. Here in Australia it is pretty much legal to camp anywhere, but there are unwritten rules. i.e Don't litter. Respect the environment.

I am thinking about moving to Williams to be with my Daughter and 3 grand children and need to find a job prior to moving. I am wondering if you looking for any help there at your new hotel. If so what positions? I will be happy to send you my resume.
Thank you

Hi Terri,
Yes, there is still some construction if you take I-17 to 179 through the Village of Oak Creek. This is the most common way to Sedona from Phoenix, though it is not always the quickest. This route now has nice roundabouts that keep the traffic moving once you get into Oak Creek, but it is peak tourist time in Sedona and the sheer number of cars can have you backed up for many miles. If you don't mind not experiencing the "Ooh-Ahh!!!!" factor the occurs once you come around the bend opening up out of nowhere to the gorgeous red rocks, I suggest taking this alternate route. You will enter Sedona on the west side of town instead of the south:
I-17 north to 287 for AZ-260 toward Cottonwood/Payson/AZ-89A- Go 89A north and that is main road that runs through Sedona. This route looks like it takes longer, but in my recent experiences, it could save you over 30 minutes. Enjoy your adventure!
