I believe that your dates are a bit off for peak Fall colors. Late September through mid-October is best to find the golden aspens up and around the Flagstaff areas, especially the San Fransisco Peaks. A great trip from Sedona, add the Grand Canyon and make the day of it.
For Sedona, you will find colors peaking late October and most of November. In 2007, we are enjoying very warm Fall weather into late November.
